Yeah, but how many miles are we talking about
Regarding Margarito v Williams. Most of Williams punches were pretty pitty-patty in that fight.
Does Margarito have a better chin? Yes. Is it miles (or any other term used to denote some exaggerate extent) better, no.

I wasn't criticizing someone for disagreeing with Cracky. I was criticizing the use of obnoxious "descriptive" terms that in effect describe little more than a particular person's inability to see that these are both two top tier fighters stepping in the ring together.

Cotto by UD

Im new here, just wanted to give my opinion on the fight...

I see Cotto winning a close decision, but it all depends on his gas tank. Miguel had a 93 day training camp (one of the longest in his carrer), so I hope that pays of because he CAN NOT fade late into the fight. Margarito can go 15 rounds throwing a high output of punches and applying constant pressure, so Cotto better be prepared for that.

Miguel is a better boxer, and has a more diverse arsenal to adapt to his oponents style, if he uses his smarts in the ring, and knows when to bang with Margo (its inevitable) and when to box him, he will come out victorious.

Can't wait for Saturday night, I have great deal of respect for both fighters and I know they will not dissapoint come fight time.

I got Margarito just because he really really needs to come correct in this fight! I feel he can push the issue with Cotto.

On the other side, Cotto has the boxing skills and definite will to win (not that Margarito doesn't).

IMO if Cotto cant hurt Tony he won't be able to keep Tony off for 12 Rounds.
Cotto can box and very very well but IMO the kind of boxing needed to keep Tony off will have to be from someone who is fleet of foot. Like Paul Willams in the first half of his fight with tony.

fucking a this is a great fight.

Right on.

I'm a Larry fan.
Even have the "I Love Larry Merchant" hat to prove it.
