Brian Minto and Derrick Rossy
I didn't see Minto's fight against Shultz, but I heard he looked even better. I was always impressed by Minto's speed, footwork, endurance,and jab, and toughness. He lacks power and size though, but none the less, he will be a decent HWT. I think he'd do great down at 201 b/c I think he fights at like 212. He could lose that in water weight the day before the fight and be right back up to 212. Hell, evey other weight class does it except hw and cruisers.
Derrek Rossy - just saw him fight at MSG against Shannon Miller. I really think this guy could go far. He is raw but I like his atheleticism, hand speed(great), jab(doubles it and triples it), endurance, size(6'4" 250 lbs), and toughness. He lacks a bit of power (but that could be increased), and he is susceptible to the right(which also could be helped).
Watch out for these 2, a couple more good opponents in 2007 and maybe a title shot in 2008! I wonder who they will fight next?
