I think I would disagree that that 8 are the best of all time but they all had some pretty good defensive skills. Even Tyson, who we never think of as a defensive boxer had great head movement and made guys miss alot.
But there are some glaring absences. Winky Wright jumps to mind. IF you add a guy like tyson, then you gotta add RJJ. He has great defense when he wants it and in his hey day he could slip punches with the best of them. Then you got hopkins, who shuts down guys offensive but it isn't really highlight friendly defense.
