Barrera vs Marquez, woohoo!
They're both skilled enough to make this a really good match. Barrera hasn't been much of a brawler lately, but maybe he'll bring it out to rough up Marquez.
Barrera will take a decision, I think. What does everyone else think?

Nah, I think Louis is gonna land his right. Tyson has a chance but we all know that Monson is sneaky enough to make it auquard.

I think Barrera is smart to not want that fight. I think he should be able to stop Marquez or at least get the decision over him, I doubt Barrera will go in looking for a war, he'll box him.

They are both great technically. Barrera is a proven force in that area and although Marquez struggles for fans (or on every forum I go to at any rate) he gave Pacman far more trouble than anyone in recent years. I see the younger, fresher man landing with more better precision. Marquez is no Rocky Juarez.
Close but all said and done Marquez via Counterbeating. Barrera is loooong in the tooth and hasnt fought anyone of note since Pacman.

He beat Morales the third time who is definitely someone of note, and I would just tend to go for the man with the wider skillset. Barrera can box and I doubt that he's forgotten how to brawl as well. I see him making this fight a rough one with no hesitation like he showed against Juarez. I don't think Marquez will be able to counter him all night, or even for the majority of the match.

Gotta love Barrera for all the great fights he's put forth. I think he'll handle JMM, and I don't blame him for wanting no part of Pacquiao.
