Angulo getting better every fight

He went from being a pressure fighter that breaks opponents down, to being a pressure fighter with pretty good one punch ko power. I think his loss to Cintron has served him well.

I didnt see the fight yet.. but it doesnt seem like a very big transition juding by your assessment.

It's actually a huge transition.. consider the fact that he isn't the fastest guy in the world. As he goes up in class, his opportunities to land decrease as the skill of his opponents increase. He is making the most of his opportunities now and that is going to play a major role in his ascension to the next level.

Sigh-- yeah.. minority. I though Angulo was coming on and would have won if it had been a longer fight, but he got outboxed for the majority of the bout

I was hoping Yorgey would put up a better showing....
I didn't see the fight, but I heard he was dropped cold.

No he didn't. The early rounds he was landing the cleaner shots.HBO was just blinded by Cintron's movements.

Nah.. he was confused and even wobbled early.. he kept on trucking though and thats why I like him.. he is reminiscent of JC Chavez in that way.

Yeah... it was brutal.. the cool thing is that Yorgey was showing some good lateral movement and speed, but Angulo handled it all well.. I really think he is improving a lot

That's good to hear.
Coming off of his loss to Cintron it's nice to see that he's not taking on complete slouches. Angulo might have taken them both out quickly. But that might not be so much a slam on their abilities, but a big nod for Angulo's abilities.
