Tsurkan v Angulo

Andrey Tsurkan (26-3 & 17KOs) v Alfredo Angulo (13-0 & 10KOs) is set for 10/04/2008.
Yuriorkis Gamboa is also on the card but his opponent has not been named.

Cotto v Margarito
Diaz v Katsidis
and now Tsurkan v Angulo.

Lots of good fight fan fights.

Anyone know if this fight is being aired in the states?
Checked both HBO and Show and didn't see a thing.
Comcast PPV listings don't seem to have it listed for my area.

Tsurkan v Angulo should be a good fight.
This is a big step up for Angulo

I didn't know how much longer it would take for this forum to start working correctly again. So I just editted an old post.

I know.
There are so many good fights coming up. When I first read about this one I just got that much more excited.

Tsurkan has impressed me everytime I have seen him. Even his fight with Yuri Foreman. I don't know how frustrated he got during the match, but he seemed to keep his cool and just kept doing what he needed to do. His fight with Feliciano was good, but to the same time disturbing (wrt Feliciano's well being).

Angulo gave us that tough performance on the recent card with many other young prospects (Gamboa and Kirkland) when he took out the tough (but power deficient) Richard Gutierrez.
Gutierrez was able to land some shots on Angulo during the fight... but Tsurkan has a bit more power than Gutierrez.

Should be a good fight.

There's got to be more interest in the fight than this.
I'm impressed that an undefeated Angulo would be taking such a risky fight.
He's got power, but Tsurkan can take power and keep on marching you down.

And he can keep his cool. His fight was Yuri Foreman had me worked up and frustrated. Tsurkan still lost, but I thought that he handled his emotions pretty well during that match.

Good point.

Gamboa will hopefully fight a legit threat.
I have no idea who this fight is geared to: Tsurkan or Angulo.
You've got a fun, tough brawler on one hand and a hard hitting, undefeated, young prospect on the other. I hope Angulo comes prepared.
