Fighter of the year: Cotto or Pavilik

Fight of the Year: Vasquez vs Marquez dos (that's two, dummy)

KO of the year: GOT to agree with you guys with Darnell Wilson snagging the award. He coldcocked Nwodo with that left hook. I am surprised Larry Merchant didn't appear and say "Darnell Wilson I LOVE YOU!!!" Craziness...

Prospect of the year: The guy who said Chris Arreola should be kicked in the groin. But this one is a toughy for me. I'll like to say Povetkin just because he destroyed Chris Byrd and he only has 14 fights. That is impressive, but I would probably go for J.M. Lopez. And Andy Lee isn't looking too shabby.

Trainer of the year: Not really a year for trainers. Can't give you an answer.

**I can't wait until the fight with two clean cut white boys happen. That is, Kelly Pavilik vs. Andy Lee. Might Happen in year or two. At least they have Andy Lee moving along unlike some other prospects. *cough cough*

Anyway... 2007 was a great year of boxing. I would like to say 2008 is probably the year of the prospects. I expect a lot of new guys to really explode into the scene. Also, I expect a few of the top tier guys would fight to solidify their pre-legendary status. Wishful thinking I guess. Let's all hope 2008 will be as spectacular if not more spectacular than 2007!

Miranda and Taylor is more impressive to me than Judah and a close win over Mosley, especially the way Pavlik took them out. So he gets my vote. If hatton happens to beat floyd somehow, then he should get it as Castillo is no joke and a win over mayweather would be insane.

FOTY for me is Taylor/Pavlik. It had a lot of hype and was for the undisputed Middle weight championship. It definetly lived up to it all, and seeing JT fall over like that was crazy!!

Izzy and Marquez 1 and 2 were awesome though.

Fight of the year - Pavlik Vs Taylor for high drama. Vasquez/Rafa for All time Great Trilogy class. Mayweather/Hatton for a "Here's to hoping" level.

Fighter of the year - Migual Cotto (best looking Judah we've seen in AWHILE) and a still awe-inspiring Shane Mosley. Mayweather whoops the hell outta Hatton in a barn-burner, he gets it.

KO of the year - #1... Seriously, Touch of sleep wins this... (Hooked ya'll up)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pxb1E...eature=related

Round of the year - Codrington Vs Bika Contender finale.

Poorest decision of the year - Santa Cruz Vs Casamayor (and by godamn MILES)

Mismatch of the year - Calzaghe Vs Manfredo (by MILES again) , some good mentions are G.Johnson Vs Margarito, Bautista Vs Ponce De Leon.

Fights I'm wishing for in 08'
Williams Vs Cintron = Winner fights Margarito/Cotto winner
Pac-man /Katsidis Vs Juan Diaz
Pac-Man Vs J.M.M
Enzo Mac Vs David Haye
Mosley Vs Mayweather
Any combination of Ouma/Karmazin/Mayorga/Dzinz fighting
Librado Andrade Vs. Edison Miranda
Jeff Lacy Vs Sakio Bika ahaha
Pavlik Vs Abraham/Sturm
Zab Judah Vs Josh Clottey
Edwin Valero Vs Joan Guzman
Barrios Vs Soto
Vernon Forest Vs Oscar Delahoya
Rey Bautista Vs Celestino Caballero ( this is a fight I think would work for Boom Boom)
Arce vs Darchinyan - sommmmmeeedaaay.
Donaire Vs Sakata
Calderon Vs Eagle ( who should move up anyhow)
Pascal Vs Bute
Danny Green Vs Joe Calzaghe
Darnel "ding-a-ling man" wilson Vs Mormeck
Alexander Povetkin Vs Wlad Klitschko
Sam Peter Vs Sultan Igbramov
David Tua Vs Lamon Brewster ( I would need to be brough back to life)
David Tua Vs Chris Arreola
Virchis Vs Juan Carlos Gomez
Wlad Vs Valuev/Ruslan/Oleg/Peter II/Sultan

You have a champion in there...thats bold. Though he shouldn't be champ right now.

The layoff really hurt Casa but not as much as his age.
