Most violent movie you've ever seen

I just rented the movie The Hills Have Eyes (unrated version)...... and daaaamn, that movie was violent as hell! Non-stop blood-shed, and probably the most gory, brutal, disturbing movie I've seen yet. What's the most violent movie you've ever seen?

Was it the original or the remake?

For me, I'd say Bunman: The Untold Story.

Takashi Miike has some fucked up movies... Visitor Q, Audition, and Ichi the Killer to name a few.

Suicide Club ( Jisatsu Circle ), is another movie that is just plain fucked up. ( Stomping on animals while they're inside a bag. )

Depends on your version of most violent. Frequency of the violence? Most graphic? Most disturbing? Most pointless or tasteless?

Saving Private Ryan was violent but portrayed in context so very few people would have a problem with it.

Irreversible is shocking.

I watched a couple of fucked up movies in my day. But 'The last house on the left' was disturbing. Repeated violent rape scenes. It was just sick. So bad that I don't even think I watched it all. The violence wasn't even that realistic. It was really tasteless and dark. Hard to describe but not something I'd reccommend.
