Ever read a clock or something wrong and do everything accordingly based on that misinterprentation? Then when you realize you've made a mistake with the time...Everything for like the following 10-15 minutes feels out of place and completely fucked up?
This may sound weird, but it happened to me.
I was working and my co-worker and I misread the clock, and we thought it was almost closing time.
So we pretty much shut down the store, locked the front door, got everything ready.....
But then she read the time on the security camera display TV and was like what the fuck?
I then looked at the clock again and had sick feeling, as I noticed the clock was right. We just read it wrong somehow. It felt like the clock went back an hour. I don't know how to explain. It was a disgustingly weird feeling.
Then the rest of the shift felt like I was in the twilight zone.
I was soooo sure it was time to close....
Anyway, did any of you ever experience something similar?
But if you think I'm just retarded...
