Italy didn't have a lot of there stars like totti, toni, nesta ect due to there domestic season starting late due to the match fixing scandal. Anyway that happens in football look at Euro 2004 Greece beat everyone now they can't beat anyone.

Croatia game was also kinda weird.

As for pointing your finger at FIFA ... I wouldn't go too far. This assumption lacks supporting evidence. The ref in the Croatia game was just awful IMO. On the other hand the ref in the Korea game was either bribed or willing to make history. Or both.

Now, during the 2006 WC, did Italy win in controversial style ? I don't think so. Or maybe in the Australia game, even if nobody can claim that Australia would have won w/o the last second PK. Every world champ has its lucky moment, anyway. But otherwise I wouldn't confuse a "close" victory for a "controversial" one. Italy won. PK shootouts are part of the game. It's not the first time in WC history that a dominating team loses the PK shootout. Period.

Every goal that Man U score, was a dumb mistake by celtic.....they are getting ripped up here by our commentators on the goals they have conceded. Graveson passed the ball to a united player outside the box setting up the goal, it was not a penalty with giggs. I cant remember the other goal at the moment.

the scoreline does not always say who is getting ownd, remember Celtic are away from home, playing against the so called "superstars of the game" Man U just look like a average team.
