Italy is shit and they got lucky, their players looked dead in the second half. And even though they are all homosexuals I am still happy that a team where the nationality of the players resembles the country they are playing for won the cup because French team = Africa team.

19 players out of the 22 that played for France in the WC were born in France.

None of the remaining 3 moved to France later than their 10th birthday or so, meaning that they weren't granted the French nationality in the sole purpose of having them playing for the French team. As opposed to players like Camoranesi (Italy), or Pernia (Spain), guys who were born and raised as Argentinians but were granted a new passeport very recently. Or Deco, a Brazilian playing for Portugal.

The guys who played for France are French. Meanwhile, a few other countries were very lenient in the passport department. Live with it.

Now, I won't spend too much time debating about your statement's being racist or not. As much as I think it is (denying somebody's nationality because of his race sounds pretty much racist to me), I assume there are plenty of rhetorical objections to make.

On the other hand, there is no way on earth to deny its being a display of pure ignorance and overwhelming stupidity. Congrats for that. It was the perfect thread for you to post in, anyway.

The last World cup Italy had a powerful team, that had 5 goals....5 good goals disallowed for no reason.

They had a strong team, and had no shortage of superb firepower.

Italy along with several other European teams were literally raped by FIFA in front of billions of people.

No controversy there and no mass outrage at the blatant abuse of power by FIFA on the pitch.

It seems the voices for justice and fair are curiously selective when creating a stir about fair play and ethics on the football field.

Italy had a fucking great team in 2002, yet they were (along with Spain and portugal) raped by FIFA.

So if having a good team isn't enough, then let them be like those who sealed their fate in 2002.

I'm happy they won in controversial style.
