Actually, no, I'm working on my Maters Degree at the U of W here in Seattle. My thesis is exactly what the thread is about. It is a new phenomena in our society that has profoud and far reaching implications.
Ever since the advent of the internet each succesive generation is experiencing more and more of what is known as "digital disconnect" from normal societal interactions and interactions with the natural environment around them.
This is a facinating dynamic in terms of psychology, sociology and anthropology. I plan to complete my PHD with a minor in sociology and will get into counseling to help people like you reintegrate back into normal society.
