I went to the Science Museum today. Horray!!
Today I saw the internationally renowned exhibition, BODY WORLDS 2: The Anatomical Exhibition of Real Human Bodies, created by Dr. Gunther von Hagens. The exhibition explores human and comparative anatomy, health science, anatomy, and physiology through the study of real human bodies that have been preserved using the ground-breaking process called Plastination — providing people with the unprecedented opportunity to discover the wonders of the human body.
Plastination is where all bodily fluids and soluble fat from anatomical specimens are extracted to stop decomposition, and replaced through vacuum-forced impregnation with reactive resins and elastomers, such as silicon rubber and epoxy that harden with gas, light, or heat curing, giving the specimens rigidity and permanence. It was super serial. And cool. I am so fucking special.

without pix from an 8-or-higher megapixel camera of the female rectum and vagina inside out, sliced twice longitudinally, infused with neon red epoxy, and set in spread position, so that they look like scarlet bat wings frozen in mid-flap, heralding the doom of our rotten species, thread is worthless.
well, it's salvageable with a pic of the hot chick's ass who was working at the gift shop, but only if she had on very tight polyester pants.

They made me check my camera at the coat room. All the girls working there were frumpy, Jewish broads.

I enjoyed it thoroughly. I am doing a Ph.D. in the history of Science and Medicine, which is why I went in the first place. Some of those guys who donated their bodies were, uh, well-endowed.
