How bad is fish hooking?

Have you ever seen it done in a real street fight? Is it lethal to the victim due to lost blood? How hard do you have to pull to complete the move?

in gangs of new york that woman jumps on that dudes back and fish hooks his cheek and pulls it open. So yeah. its pretty bad

Does seem like it would be lethal, just very nasty to have your cheeks ripped wide open (and then need to be swen back together).

yeah, i guess that'd suck. But im guessin to do it in real life, youd need to be pretty fuckin strong.

a fishook in the anus id be worse, perhaps not as painfull, but more damaging to the guys pride

I don't know about lethal, but it would end a fight fast. Ripping things open is generally one of the more unpleasant experiences, I'm guessing (as opposed to a simple impact strike).

But has anyone here really seen it (outside of a movie)? It seems to me that you would have to really pull fucking hard to rip that skin and muscle. Your lips and cheek are a pretty thick piece of meat to just rip through with a finger.
