Some dude in our area left his car running while he ran into the gas station and someone stole it and got into a high speed chase with the cops and ended up getting into a serious wreck where someone got pretty jacked up. The cops wrote the guy a ticket for leaving his car unattended and running and he's also facing a lawsuit for the guy who got injured.

True. I think the ticket is justified because if the fool hadnt of left his junk running, none of that nonsense woulda happened, and because of the accident, someone got their day wrecked everybodys car insurance goes up but lawsuits are sooo frivolous these dayz
