Edmonton trades Chris Pronger!!! (NHL news)
The Edmonton Oilers have acquired right wing Joffrey Lupul and defenceman Ladislav Smid from the Anaheim Ducks, along with Anaheim’s first round draft choice in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, a conditional first round draft choice and their second round draft choice in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft in exchange for defenceman Chris Pronger.

His official responce was "personal & family reasons".
Nobody is too sure what he meant by it. But it was a shock as Pronger seemed happy with Edmonton. So his trade request came out of nowhere.

Im a ducks fan, hell yea. Funny how edmonton bumped us out, Lupul did awsome in the playoffs. Ducks got pronger HAHA. Our team is guna kick next year. Neidermeyer, Giguere, Selane and Pronger. Im guna buy opening game tickets.
