Best way to order steak?

I prefer med to med well, I've tried rare and med rare and damn near yacked - my wealthy relatives whom I despise always order med rare with such an air of superiority - it's truly sickening.

Depends on the place. If you're in some shithole restaurant, order it med well or well. You can never be too careful. If the place is upscale, order it med or whatever you like. And who gives a fuck about the relatives. I'd order it whichever way they didn't just on principle.

Rare most of the time, but like MMarlon Brando said it depends on the place

Depends on what you season your steak with. I use salt, garlic pepper, and Worchestershire sauce, which tastes best medium.

My mom likes rare. I can tolerate the taste, but the look of cow blood oozing from a partially cooked state is unappetizing to say the least.

Depends on the cut of meat. The better the cut the less done you can have it. But I typically order medium rare......and I didn't know that it was looked down upon.
