Best getaways...
What's the most exotic place you've been to & what's your favorite? I go to Rio every year (don't think I'll be going next year though because of the divorce) but nothing beats Ipanema beach in Rio IMO. It's laid back, way more so than Copacabana which can be extremely noisy with lots of obnoxious drunks. At Ipanema, there's assfloss galore, people practice BJJ right on the beach it's pretty cool. Never seen an ugly woman there. Been to Nassau (hectic) and Aruba, which is very quiet but also windy. I know a lot of you guys in Europe like to go to Madeira, like to find out about that. I'd really like to see northern Europe too, Free like a Dog has planted a serious seed. Maybe I could bring a hostage back with me.

I was in Thailand in may and it was fucking beautiful, some of the nicest beaches in the world. My fav place would have to be Ko phi phi lay. It is an island where the movie "the beach" was filmed. It's awesome because it's a national park and there are no stores or anything, only one park building on the island. Absolutley gorgeous, when I was there it was just me and my buddy, the only people on the entire island. We swam in the bay with jellyfish and all sorts of crazy fish. Luckily no shark like in the movie.
I cant' wait until next summer, heading down to south america, gonna do, venezuela, brazil and argentina hopefully.

i haven't been too many places--just got back from Maui, which was cool. The north coast road to Hana was really cool, very lush tropical rainforest. Other than Hawaii, only been to Europe. My wife's mom grew up in the jungle in Peru, and we'll probably hit that spot one of these days, should be interesting.

My best get-away happend when I was 14 and me and my friend tommy were out throwing rocks at signs when A cop came up and we ran the hell out. Tommy got caught and told the cop where I lived. The next day I beat him up

The only places I've gone are some of the Northern US States around the Great Lakes, Western Canada, Florida, and about 20 different islands in the Caribbean.
Curacao and Paradise Island Bahamas would both be at the top of my list.

yeah it's hot as fuck over there, humid too, i was in a constant state of sweat. Eating breakfast I would use my napkin to wipe sweat off my forehead. It's just above the equator too so it's pretty much hot year round. Very tropical climate. I think the avg temp while i was there, with humidex was between 35-50
