Anyone here got it? I'm thinking of getting one, but at $299, I need to do some more research and see what other people think about it.

First of all, does it play all kinds of .mp3s? I got a ton of .mp3s I've downloaded back from when Napster first came out. But they're legal since all I really listen to are video game and anime .mp3s. I'm not into any other type of music at all. I'm weird like that.

Also, is there a thing where I can connect it to my car and play it through the speakers?

I have the 30 gig model. Would rather have the nano, but I got this one for free sooooo. I like it, pretty nice. I suppose I could use limewire to download music for my itunes and then put them on it.... or buy them for 99 cents
