Anyone following the WSOP Main Event?

For those who are'nt, I thought I'd give a point form of some of the event's moments thus far.

-Phil Hellmuth was supposed to drive an Ultimate Bet clad race car to the doors of the Rio casino, then be escorted to his seat by 11 models(11 representing his total bracelets), and begin playing. However, Phil crashed the racecar in the parking lot, very shortly after starting the car he wound up hitting a concrete lamp post. The car totalled, Phil chose to walk himself to his seat.

-Vinny Vinh is supposedly on meth. He did'nt show up on the final day of the 6 handed event, which was odd considering he was one of the chip leaders. His chair got two cashes. He was seen returned to the Rio in the main event, although very skinny and pale.

-On a board of J 4 J K 2, Simon Trumper held KK while his opponent held JJ. Simon managed to flat call his opponent worried that he moght have the 4 Jacks.

-Ivey is out. Doyle is out. Chan is out. Lots of pro's are out.

-Nelly, Montel Williams, Antonio Tarver, Hank Azaria, Jose Conseco, were among the celebs playing. All were eliminated, aside from Montel Williams, the day time talk show host was the chip leader at one point.

The deal won't be done for awhile, but the entertainment has been plenty.

Is this being serious or what? The only player I really enjoyed watching was the guy who took 2nd behind Moneymaker a few years back. I think his name was Farha?

No gimmick. Just a poker player.

Farha. Yes, a very entertaining, furry, arabic man, who is not balding gracefully to say the least.

I have'nt heard much about him. I assume he's out?

No idea, I haven't paid any attention to it. Im generally really good at poker, yet I haven't played online at all really. A guy from my school is graduating then going to just play poker as a pro. Why the fuck even goto school then?
