the Ol Lady and I just got back from a 7 day Cruise to Alaska. For all the Texanoids here, the weather there was sunny and about 60-68 degrees, even on the Mountain Tops with 2 feet of snow.
To break it down:
Cruise on Holland America was $299.00 per person. Very cheap. Add in Transportation, Airfare going and coming and port costs etc etc etc, (there's always a lot of etcs) But sum total was $1200.00 per person, for everything. Started in Anchorage, Stays daylight always this time of year, ended in Vancouver.
In Seward you can take a 5hr fishing trip for $99.00 and this is what you get like so:

This thing is 8 miles wide and 700 yards tall. We were a mile away and it felt like we were on top of it. The thing cracks and crashes huge chunks all day long. Pics don't do it justice.
