African tribe that has a fat contest each year...
Ok... I know this isn't really the right place to post this, but this is the only highly trafficked message board I'm on so I figured I'd give it a shot.
I'm doing a research paper for a class on competitive eating and I'm trying to get some older stuff than the modern hot dog eating contest. I remember watching a show on Discovery (or National Geographic) about an African tribe that had a contest every year to see which man could get the fattest. They mostly drank milk and it wasn't uncommon for men to die trying to get fat because their stomachs would burst.
I've used all sorts of search terms and I can't come across anything.
Does anyone else remember seeing this show?
Any information would be appreciated...

yeah i do too. i just searched discovery.com and nationalgeographic.com and found no results. i was certain the program was on one of those two channels. __________________
