Oh that thing. Dam yeah that would probably work for neck curls. Definitely should try and pick up one of those or morph my current neck harness into something like that.

Let me know if youy make one. I've been thinking about it. I mean it's essentially just a bag of sand with a belt around it right?

-Jump Rope-
1 minute rounds x 5 w/ 1 minute rests between rounds

-Jump Circuit-
15 Power Jumps
20 Thrusters
20 Flying Step ups
15 Calf Raises
x 5 w/ 3 minute rest between circuits

-Partial Ab Wheel Rollouts-
x 5
x 5
x 5
x 5
x 5

-Neck Harness Extensions-

25 x 15
25 x 15
25 x 15
25 x 15

-Reverse Crunches / Toe Touches-
x 10 / 10

*Had to do this tonight. Usually don't work out at night but today I did because I'm so dam lazy. I'm glad I got it in though because it's days like this that make it really easy to blow off a session, but I'm not gonna let it happen because 2 months down the line when I test my vert no matter how much progress I make at least I can say that I gave it my all.

7/30/08 Wednesday
-Warmup-
Exercise bike x 7 minutes

-Squats-
Warmup
135 x 3
225 x 2
T3 Cycle 4 Day 3
295 x 3
285 x 1
225 x 3
225 x 3
225 x 3
Total Tonnage = 3195 lbs., 930 lb. decrease

-SOHP-

115 x 5
135 x 5
145 x 5
155 x 2

-Sumo Deadlifts w/ switch grip-
135 x 5
225 x 5
315 x 5
365 x 3
365 x 3

-Pullups-
BW x 4
BW x 5
BW x 5

-Front Squats-
135 x 5
155 x 5
185 x 3

*Damit. I don't know what happened with my squats. I had a final this morning and I was up late at night and coming into the gym I did feel kinda tired. But I was able to put up 295 with relative ease with wide stance and then I failed on the second rep for 285. I think it has to do with my wider stance. I decided to go down in weight and just work on my form. It took me till the last set to find that grove again and when I did the weight felt really light. I'm gonna stick with this wider stance even though it's giving me a headache right now I know it will eventually pay off. Decided to do sumo pulls to help with t.he wider stance.

Dude take it from an insomniac, even a small varience in sleep can fuck up your motor skills. Get some sleep and attack the next session.

I hope thats the case and not something else.

7/31/08 Thursday
-Jump Rope-
1 minute rounds x 5 w/ 1 minute rest between rounds

-Jump Circuit-
15 Power Jumps
20 Thrusters
20 Flying Step ups
15 Calf Raises
x 5 w/ 3 minute rest between circuits

-Partial Ab Wheel Rollouts-
x 5
x 5
x 5

*Decided to do this like right now instead of the evening. Perhaps get more recovery time before squatting tomorrow, which will be done at home instead of the gym because I don't have class tomorrow. It's going to be interesting starting next week with my gym time. I'll only have classes twice a week (Tues and Thurs) and so I'll have to figure out a routine to fit in with those days. Right now I'm thinking I'll do Day 1 of the T3 at home on Sat or Sun then Day 2 on Tues and Day 3 on Thursday. Hopefully that works out. I might do some neck work later on today also maybe some more ab stuff.

I'm having second thoughts about my wide stance squatting. What are your guys' thoughts? Should I tough it out or go back to my regular narrow stance. I feel more strain on the ligaments of my knees with the wide stance, but I think thats just because of my inflexibility and will probably go away eventually.

Not that my advice is worth much, but I'd stick with the wide stance. I think you will probably achieve higher numbers that way. But unlike you, I feel more strain on my knees with a narrow stance.

My plan is back squat wide and front squat narrow.

Thanks I guess I'll make the wide stance work. The thing is the weight does feel easier, but it always feels like I'm not going down low enough, but logically my hips are going below my knees so I don't know what's going on. I need to tape myself.
