yeah but its not like im doing them back to back...there is a good bit of time between exercises.....my light days suck..this is true. ill get a video of that particular workout..as well as the viking circuit..

one of my military friends came to town today....so here is my "workout"...

rock climbing:
60 foot flat granite..great falls VA.
top rope climb:
25 accensions

the line we chose was moderate.
had about 3 partial inversions and one serious gap that required switching grip points without using my feet.

Scott is an absolute beast as he free soloed the initial climb to set up the rig.

after that we went to golds gym in ashburn ( they have a BJJ class and use wrestling mats for it).

wrestled 8 peroids and got absolutely smoked the majority of the time..
my single leg and high double were on point but he is impossible to keep down...i got granby rolled into oblivion on more than on occasion ( scott made the ncaa tourny all 4 years at tech..and was ranked # 1 nationally in 2002). needless to say..he is better than I am...

fun nonetheless....

I sent the same memo out last year..but if anyone lives in NOVA and would like to climb with me...just let me know....

workout # 2 for today.

scott has had the pleasure of working out at the gym jones facility in utah..so he passed a few workouts my way...

workout one:
size matters

single arm dumbell clean/jerk/overhead squatx 20 (alternate sides per floor touch)

immediately into dumbell deadlifts x 15 (two hands)

followed by single arm dumbell swing (used as active rest)

immediately into alternating single arm burpees/single arm dumbell snatch x 15 ( you grab the weight on the way down from your burpee..then explode upward)

use the same weight for all ( I used 50 lbs).

reaction: this sucks...in a good way.... took about 4 minutes...and sucked all the way through

ill post more as I get them
