Gave myself two days of recovery. I felt better this time and did a little more. I will repeat this workout until I get all 5x5 of each exercise. I haven't done any of the prescibed rows yet. I need to get out there earlier in the evening or find a way to keep the mosquitos and biting flies away. I sweat the bug spray off during warmup.

No lifting the last few days, but I have been in +100 degree heat hiking miles a day in the Louisiana bayou. I have been pushed harder than I could push myself in a workout.

The last two days were 12hr days. I had to go home and drink fluids before I took a leak both days. I have been sweating so much that I have raw patches everywhere that my clothes rub. That plus scratches, bites, stings and poison ivy and I am looking worse for wear.

The positives are that I still love the work and my GPP is being pushed through the roof.

I am in the office today, but I will probably need at least today for recovery before I can lift again.

So obviously the lifting is stalled again.

The good news:

I have lost weight with the new work. I don't have a scale, but I bought some work shirts that I couldn't wear at all when I got here in July, and they fit great now.

I bought a house and it closes at the end of the month.

I will try to get a few sessions in in the meantime so I will be ready to go once I have moved in.

Expect, nay demand, regular lifting in September.
