Howdy ya'll! I am in east Texas as of yesterday evening. It's hot! I should have my rack and weights next week. I have been completley out of the training routine for a while, but I will be back up as soon as I can. I don't know if I have a place for my rack while I am at my parents, but we will see.

Liquid!: Had some Diablo coffee for breakfast. Thanks man!

Diablo is a roast of cafe ladro beans from Seattle (damn good stuff). Quiddo gave me a bag and a mug as a go away gift.

The job is hard freaking core. I have been in the field three of the four days I've worked and done a lot of rough hiking in high heat and humidity.

I have lifted once and I mowed about 3/4 of an acre with the push mower and another 1/4 with a manual pushmower over the weekend. I am adapting to the physical strain of the job and then I will get back on a lifting schedule.

I may be working about 15 miles north of mexico for a few days next week! That should be warm.

I have started packing big healthy lunches and I am definetly going to be losing some serious weight with this work.

Yes! Good to see you back mountain man. Field work is the desert is not an easy task, but it beats the shit out of sitting at your cube all day.

I worked for the stream ecology lab at ASU one summer. We started a 4:30 am and finished at noon. Shorts were not an option as I'd taken a few barbed cactus needles though my jeans. No shade except for a few cottonwood trees.

Its sounds like you'll need a little bit to re-adjust to the heat too.
