No-Gi Tournament
Match 1 - Win, 5-2?
Match 2 - Loss, Could not continue due to injury
I'm not exactly sure of the final score in my first match of the day. I managed to severely sprain an intercostal muscle or two during that match, and I needed to be helped up off the mat. I got checked out by the medic, and she gave me the go ahead to continue. going into the second match, I knew I was going to have a tough time, because I was in some righteous pain. I tried to get my underhooks, but the guy shrugged me off. I tried a couple shots, but couldn't fully commit because I was hurting so bad. at that point, I decided that a flying armbar was pretty much my only option, because there was no way I was in any condition to actually wrestle this dude. so, I went for it. kinda almost got it, but just ended up with him in my high guard. he postured up, and I couldn't move. at all. had to tap. it was really disappointing, because I was feeling pretty good about my bracket. oh well. 'til next time.

First day back to lifting.
Squat - 135x8, 185x6, 225x4, 225x6, 225x8
OHP - 75x8, 95x6, 115x4, 115x6, 115x8
BOR - 95x8, 115x6, 135x8, 135x6, 125x8
still can't do pull-ups or chins without pain. bummer.
