Man I need at the very least two hours after a hard training session to calm down and sleep, and even then it tends to suck.

ZMA helps, but it gives you weird dreams, similar to the kind you have when you've eaten something funky or have a fever.

Magic 60 - 13:19

I shaved 4 minutes off my score from last week. having a time I wanted to beat made a huge difference. also, my training partner was using a 25 lbs DB and was just doing regular burpees, so I was chasing her the whole time.

Deadlift - 205x5, 225x5, 235x5, 245x5, 255x5, 275x1, 295x1, 315x1, 345x1, 365x1
OHP - 95x5, 105x5, 115x5, 125x5, 135xfail, 130xfail
6 chin-ups

well, I need a new summer goal for my deadlift. is 400 lbs by September too ambitious? we'll see.

something strange happened to me yesterday and today when I was doing chins... I got this searing pain in the back of my head as I maxed out. it hurt yesterday, but today it was completely debilitating. I wonder if there's just way too much tension in my delts and it's seizing up the muscles in my upper neck and the back of my head. regardless, it was excruciating. I still have a minor headache now, and it's been about an hour after the fact. time to hit up the search function...
