Witness the fitness
This log has changed name from 'Project Lazarus' as I have achieved all the goals that I set myself (see below) when starting the log. My wrist is no longer a major obstacel to normal lifting and I have rebuilt a large proportion of the strength I possessed prior to my surgery, the original intro to this log will remain underneath to explain the following posts but for all intents and purposes this is now a powerlifting log.
Current status:
Squat - 150 (330)
Bench - 125 (275)
Deadlift - 170 (375)
This log marks my return to lifting, for those who haven't been following my progress thus far, I've spent the last six months out of action for one reason or another. Most recently I had surgery on my left wrist to correct a ganglion cyst which reached down all the way to my joint capsule. The cyst and a chunk of said capsule were removed and I've spent the last six weeks rehabbing my wrist to the point where I can finally restart my lifting.
Immediately after the surgery I had no function whatsoever in my left hand and it took almost two weeks before I could move my fingers much and a while longer til I could close my hand into a fist, as you can imagine this means my road back to lifting at full strength will be long and very tedious, don't come here expecting 200kg+ deadlifts and heavy pressing for quite a while. I will also not be doing any martial art training for at least six months, so this log will almost entirely consist of lifting with the occasional cardio and endurance session thrown in.
The rules:
Wrist wraps will be worn at all times when lifting
No straight bar pressing or rowing for initial period
No low bar squats or good mornings
No Olympic lifts
Wrist and hand rehab will be performed every day
Once I am able to return to normal lifting, this log will change name
Some machines will be used to help rehab and to target muscles neglected due to above rules.
Goals:
Bench - 100kg
Squat - 137.5kg
Deadlift - 170kg
Overhead press - 80kg
Close #2 gripper left handed, #2.5 TNS right handed
Bend 60d nail DU
Initial status:
Bench - DB 20(44)
Squat - highbar ATG 50(110)
Deadlift - unknown
Overhead press - unknown
Left hand grip - CoC #1.5
Right hand grip - CoC #3 parallel set
Cannot even think about bending steel
A note on conventions
All weights will be written weight in kgs (weight in lbs) x sets x reps, should only a single number appear after the weight in lbs then only a single set was performed of the indicated number of reps.

Why the hell were there two of these? Oh well never mind, was gonna merge them but Standard killed it.
Yes I did shotgun my old log, but it had grown too big, fat slow and unwieldy. Was no way for a log to live, much better to remember it when it was young and full of PRs and enthusiasm.

highly recommend doing light high rep levering to rehab and strengthen your wrists...
I love that device...
also give 1.25-2.5 lb finger curls a try....extension bands...as well as light egg shaped stress relief balls can also help...

Thanks everybofy, good to be back.
Thanks DS but I already made one using a piece of steel tubing, some plates and two hose clamps; extension bands, squidgy stress balls, dexterity balls, finger curls on my eagle loops and light wrist roller work are all already in constant use as well as massaging my scar with a vitamin e-oil to help it break down.
I currently sit on the counter at work and do rehab while chatting to the regular customers who come in and trying to persuade them not to buy maximuscle.
I'm currently loving my new IMTUGS BTW, very nice little grip tool.
