Sizing up before I start another 5x5 program. Feels good to be lifting again I was starting to feel like a piece of shit from taking so much time off.

Wednesday 1/30/08
Weight: 178
Bench:
45x5, 95x5, 135x5, 155x5, 165x3
Yates Row:
45x5, 135x5, 155x5, 185x2, 165x4
Front Squat:
45x5, 95x5, 115x5, 135x5
Back Squat:
135x5, 175x5, 225x3, 185x5

5RMs for 5x5:
Bench: 155
Yates: 155
F. Squat: 135
B. Squat: 185

Friday gonna set my deadlift/pullups/military and next monday Ill get started.

Decided to use this new 5x5 I'm starting as an oppurtunity to fix some of the cheats that have been creeping into my lifts. Made sure all military presses touch the clavicle. Made sure that all pullups go all the way down to completely hanging and stopped flailing my legs like a moron to get those last reps.

Friday 2/1/08:

Military: 30x10, 45x5, 95x5, 105x5
Deadlift: 135x5, 185x5, 205x5, 225x3
Pullups: BWx6. BWx7, BW+10x5, BW+25x3
Front Squats: 45x5, 95x5, 135x5, 185x2 PR
Situps: BWx50
Ran for 10 minutes leisurely pace.

5RMs for new 5x5:
Military: 105
Deadlift: 205
Pullups: BW+10

The feeling of weakness I've had in my right knee is increasing it is also now accompanied by a clicking sound. So for next week I'm toning down to squats only on Friday. For monday/wednesday i'm going to plug in weighted dips instead. We'll see how it feels after next week but I don't think I want to test it might have to back off squats for a time untill it heals up.

As I said slight funniness in left knee has led to no squats or running this week. Hopefully we have improvement by next week.
