A way out.

It's been a bad couple years. Trying to get out. Neck/upper back chronic pain. Cyst in face requiring surgery. Depression. Anxiety. Pills. Work. Smoke.


Lifting to get strong and never feel weak again. Quit smoking after 11 years. Started lifting to help the cravings and try and strengthen my neck/back. Spent thousands of dollars on physio./chiro. for 1 year+ with only minor improvement. When I started I new nothing about lifting.

BW = 130 lbs.
Bench = 105 lbs. x5
Deadlift = 135 lbs. x5
Squat = 135 lbs. x5
terrible I know!!

4 months working out, smoke free.

BW = 145 lbs
Bench = 130 x5
Deadlift = 185 x5
Squat = 185 x5

Getting somewhere. I plan on updating this every time I remember. I just want to be stronger in order to help the pain. It's working so far.


Pain in neck/back from a 3-7/10 to a more constant 1-2/10 with no chiro./physio. It's unreal.
