Yeah by the second leg bend i mean your trying to drop under the bar after the push by bending your knees. I don't think we should include any jerks.
- only 1 knee bend allowed to start the pushpress
- you can use any stance, staggered or traditional
- after the push you must remain in the same stance you started with
anything else you can think of?
oh yeah the money didn't go through to you for some reason, i got the money credited back to my account so can you PM your info to me again.

But, if its staggered, then both legs arent completely straight right? I would say that for simplicity sake, we just make it a traditional push press, ending with both legs straight, and the bar in a locked out, overhead position.
No worries, ill check in a bit and get the info to you again.

Sounds good to me, i was just leaving the option open because some people stagger their legs slightly for stability, i think KW advices that actually.

Push jerk uses the double knee bend. Notice as they complete the initial drive up, they immediately rebend at the knees to get under the bar. A lot of strongman competitiors prefer this to a split jerk, which takes a little longer to transition from rep to rep.

5/30/07 – Push Day 1 + Grip
Warm-Up
• Bounding
• High-Knees
• Butt-Kickers
• Karaoke
• Lunges
• Plyo Push-Ups
Push Press
135 x 5
205 x 2
Push Jerk
205 x 2
225 x 2
235 x 1
OHS
135 x 6
185 x 3
205 x 1 (PR)
Farmers Walks
125 LBS x 110 FT
125 LBS x 110 FT
Grippers
Over Crushes, timed holds
Hammer Curls
50 x 6
55 x 5
Stretch
Notes – I am much better at push presses with staggered stance than traditional. The 225 x 2 was quick and explosive, and the 235 wasn’t TOO stressful. New PR for overhead squats with 205 x 1. That’s cool. Ill film a 225 x 1 for the church soon. I got frustrated with a lot of gym goers today and that almost never happens anymore. There was the trainer teaching a client how to squat. At first I was stoked because the guy had about 235 lbs on the bar, until I noticed that only ¼ squats were being taught. Why don’t they just teach them the correct way? A bunch of people kept walking behind me while im doing push jerks and overhead squats, even ducking under the bar to get wherever they were going. Didn’t they realize that a missed rep in that case will mean their death? Its like everybody took stupid pills today…

So we should figure out these rules for final, push jerk ok or not? split jerk ok or not? and staggered stance allowed?
I don't think either jerk should be included, the push jerk i don't find to bad but again we are doing a push press. staggered i'm cool with, i get better balance with the staggered but a better push with the traditional stance.
Stupid pills are taken regularly by gym patrons i had a moron basically trying to limbo as i did a bent press before

Yeah, i cant believe they dont see the inherent danger in some of the things they do. One day i will just drop the weight and see if i can get off with a justifiable homocide ruling
Apples to apples - Traditional push press (no jerks, staggered stance or double leg bend)
