BP 135/25 205/8 225/3 my bench sux and it seems to be getting worse. how is that possible?
Wtd Dips 60/10 + 6, 60/6 + 4
OH Shrugs 95/15 x 2 (1st time doing this - eh, they're all right)
Clean Pulls 205/5 225/3 275/3 fun!
Clean Shrugs 235/10 with long pause at the end
Clean 1 x 4/135
Stretch

You should only max bench for 3 weeks straight before cutting back and doing DE work...

Thanks for the article. Ill try some of that DE lifting on this week's push day. Does that no more than 3 week ME principle apply to squats and DL's as well?

I think it's a longer period for those. I'm no expert though. Just play it by ear - whenever you start to stall, lay off and go DE for a bit.

Again - thanks for the advice!


I plan on testing my max deadlift next monday, so this week i removed all normal deadlifts, replacing them with heavy cleans and switched my squat and push day. I am hoping that this will allow maximal recovery time for Monday's test.
