Tater's Log
My goals are to have my bench press over 300 lbs, squat and deadlift somewhere around 375 by July. Right now I bench 265 one rep max, deadlift 275 five rep max (I have only been deadlifting for a month), and squat 300 one rep max. While trying to increase strength I also have to prepare for a Physical Fitness Test so I do have to continue to do long steady duration running in order to prepare for the test. Just a little about myself, I am 6'3" about 225lbs. I started out with just cardio a little over a year ago and weighed about 274lbs. In high school I played numerous sports but after graduation I gained a ton of weight so while I am trying to gain strength I am also trying to burn fat as well.
Monday: Squat 5x5, OHP 5x5, Deadlift 5x5, Pull-Ups 3xF. 30 minutes cardio.
Tuesday: Light Cardio.
Wednesday: Squat 5x5, Bench 5x5, BOR 5x5, Push-Ups 3xF, Dips 3x10. 30 Minutes cardio.
Thursday: Light Cardio.
Friday: Squat 5x5, OHP 5x5, Deadlift 5x5, Pull-Ups 3xF. 30 Minutes Cardio
Saturday: 45 Minutes cardio
Sunday: Off
If there is anything that is really wrong with this routine I would appreciate any help.
