Finally back to some real lifting...

BW = 89.1 kg

Front squat
40 kg x 3
60 kg x 3
70 kg x 3

92.5 kg x 1
80 kg x 3

Dumbell bench
15 kg x 8
20 kg x 8

Just waiting for the bench to free up.

Close grip bench
40 kg x 5
60 kg x 5
70 kg x 5
75 kg x 5
70 kg x 6 (regular grip)

75 kg for 5 reps ties my PR on these, and it really wasn't too hard.

28 degrees? I didn't think it ever got that hot in Finland....

Digging up old skeletons, eh?

Monday, June 30th: Muay Thai

New techniques today were the high roundhouse kick and, uh, the straight low kick (kinda like a push kick, but kick the opponent in the thigh, possibly turning the foot so that the heel does the damage). My rear leg high kick felt pretty good, had some balance issues with the front leg one but it will come with time.

Tuesday, July 1st

25 minute run. Followed up with two sets of 30 push-ups + 30 sit-ups.

Slowly working up. Ankle didn't bother me at all, fortunately.

Also, updating my sig with IMO the most important training principle there is, so that I see it every time I'm about to come here and start bitching about my lack of miracle gains...

Wednesday, July 2nd: Muay Thai

Learned the uppercut. Worked that into some nifty combos. Then played around with catching roundhouses for a bit. Finished up with a "holy crap" -level ab circuit.

Also, finally bought some proper gloves.
