Wednesday, May 28th: Muay Thai
Warmed up with a round on the rope followed by a round of knee lifts, with some push-ups in between. Then did some hand drills and ping-pong push kicks. Stretched a bit.
Worked on the regular push kick a bit with both legs. One bad habit I noticed is that when going for a front leg push kick, I subconsciously move my rear foot in a bit, to help with the balance or whatever, but that leaves me off balance when I return my front leg. Just thinking about lifting the front leg up instead of thinking about a massive super duper liver-destroying kick seemed to help with this.
I have absolutely no idea of the English name of our technique of the day, so I'll just call it "stopper": when the opponent is coming towards you, you just extend your leg in front of you to stop the opponent. Worked on it with both legs.
Worked the stopper into some combos: front stopper to a rear roundhouse, rear stopper to a front roundhouse, rear roundhouse to a front stopper to another rear roundhouse.
Did an absolute shitload of ab work, push-ups and back extensions, then stretched.

...oops?
30 kg x 5
40 kg x 3
50 kg x 3
60 kg x 3
62.5 kg x 3
65 kg x 1
60 kg x 3
60 kg x 3
Deadlift
60 kg x 3
100 kg x 3
120 kg x 1
140 kg x 1
150 kg x 1
160 kg x 1
165 kg x 1
Everything up until 165 kg went up fast and smooth, but that last single ended up being an uneven and slow DWL.
Chin-ups
BW x 5
+15 kg x 4 [PR]
+15 kg x 3
BW x 8
BW x 4
Really don't know why I ditched the 5x5 rep scheme for this one... Just should've stuck to it.
Probably last workout until Monday. Graduation on Saturday...

Long time, no update.
Monday, June 2nd: Muay Thai
Learned the basic elbow strike. Worked that into some combos with jabs and crosses. Then worked on the "stopper" a bit more, comboing that with roundhouses.
Wednesday, June 4th: Muay Thai
Worked on the elbow strikes a bit more, then worked on a couple of knee strike variations. One where you step towards your opponent in the fighting stance, grab him by the neck and send him to the ER, the other being a basic straight knee in the clinch. Did a jab - knee to gut - rear hand elbow strike -combo. Then did some more work on the roundhouse - stopper - roundhouse combo.
My rear leg roundhouse is sooo much better than my front leg roundhouse, I have no idea why... I just can't seem to get much power with my front leg. Oh well, keep working on it.

Thursday, June 12th: RE Upper
BW = 90.1 kg
Was going to do BW dips for my RE exercise, but my left wrist was nagging a bit, so...
Dumbell bench
15 kg x 30
15 kg x 21
15 kg x 15
Greatly underestimated my ability here, heavier dumbells next time.
Pull-ups
BW x 7
BW x 4
BW x 3
BW x 3
Seated DB press
15 kg x 15
15 kg x 10
15 kg x 8
Triceps extension
30 kg x 4
20 kg x 10
20 kg x 10
Here, on the other hand, I overestimated my ability. My tri's were already fried from all the pressing...
Hammer curlz
10 kg x 10
10 kg x 10
10 kg x 10
DB side bend
15 kg x 15
20 kg x 15
20 kg x 15
