It's a warehousing job for a retail chain. I used to work with him. He was telling me about all these guys in management who were getting canned. They let go of all of their western regional managers and are going around to stores getting rid of sales managers as well.
He was trying to play it off but I could sense his anxiety. I feel bad for him because his wife is on Mat leave, he's got two kids and a mortgage payment. His wife doesn't really help matters when she grills him to "get a better job."
