Well I'm going to take a Sunday afternoon nap. I never sleep well the night of fights.

IMO, I think people have the blinders on when Fedor fights. He was definitely in a bad position and looked to be in trouble.

I have to see it the other way? Your argument is that if the fight had gone differently, Fedor would have been in trouble. What kind of argument is that? If Rogers had hit fedor on the button while standing, it would have been bad new for Fedor. So what? That's not what happened.
You must not be talking about me when you talk about having blinders on when Fedor fights. I'm the one that argued that he WAS in a bad position with Rogers on top of him. I just said that he wasn't close to losing the fight.

As Barut said, Shields isn't the hardest hitter. So what do you do if you are him? Get a dominant position and hope Miller makes a mistake. Miller never made that mistake. His game plan may have been conservative, but his grappling was impeccable for most of the fight (minus the rear naked by Miller). I don't think it's fair to criticize him so much from this fight. Prior to this fight, his last 7 wins were all finished (6 by submission and 1 by TKO). Miller is one tough son of a bitch, and that has to be factored in.

I also said that I can't fault Shields for fighting the way he did. What he did was plenty to win against a good opponent. But that doesn't make it any less boring.

I didn't rake. It turns out that I don't even own a rake.
My grass is ridiculously long because I haven't cut it in months. So, between the leaves and all the grass, there is a shit-ton of debris in my lawn. It'll probably mold up and shit over winter.
*shrugs*
Also, my lower back is sore from DLing the other day. Sitting on a lawn mower is not good therapy for this. I'm taking a break. I'm about half done.

Any recommendations for a good quality flat bench?
The ones on Rogue and EFS are 150+ while the ones on amazon are like ~50. Idk what specifications or any of that I should be looking for.

I got mine off of Craigslist for $20. It's a Marcy. Not fantabulous, but it does the job.
One from NYbarbell like this or this is probably a good option. Got a link to the Amazon one(s) in question?

I got a lot of shit planned this week. Tonight I have a staff dinner downtown, tomorrow night my Dad's taking us out for dinner for my B-day. Tuesday I have another b-day dinner to go to that a friend is throwing for me, Wednesday I'm going out with a buddy to check out a new place that has 24+ belgium brews on tap. Saturday I got another birthday party to go to.

I looked at that TDS one, it's 99 bucks on amazon. That won't break the bank but I'd rather have that money to put towards other stuff for my gym.
Amazon.com: Apex JD2.2 Flat Bench: Sports & Outdoors
This one is the one I'm considering. It's gotten fairly good reviews. I just want the height of the bench to be right, and it not to wobble.
Of the two benches I have right now one is sturdy but way too tall and the other is wobbly as fuck. The tall bench is getting shipped off with my mom's smith machine and I'll be stuck with the wobbly one. Fuck that.

Looks like it's pretty good bet. If people are happy with it, it's presumably not wobbly. It looks quite sturdy too. And, it's just a bench. Nothing to stress over too much. I say go for it.
Also, here's the IPF specs for a bench:
Quote:
1. Length - not less than 1.22 m and shall be flat and level.
2. Width - not less than 29 cm and not exceeding 32 cm.
3. Height - not less than 42 cm and not exceeding 45 cm measured from the floor to the top of the
padded surface of the bench without it being depressed or compacted.
