Those are old techology. We have a 6Ghz here and they weren't that expensive. But if they happened in different locations with different routers, then there's something fucked with your PC, or the actual card. Do you have a PCMCIA slot on your laptop?

I'm gonna hit 210 lbs tonight! Woohoo. Still got 2 months left to get to 225. Doable?? It took me a month to go from 200 to 210. I remember last time breaking 215 was almost impossible. I got to a point were no matter how much I ate I would just poop it out later. I was going poop every few hours. Just like these past few days... But I will fight on!

The solution is to lift until you poop!

The newest cordless phone we have is 900 mhz... We upgrade our stuff at yard sales, man.
I do have a PCMCIA slot, although I have a USB powered fan that fits in it and blows cool air over the mobo. I got it because I'd noticed that sometimes the 'puter would get hot as a mother and figured that was contributing to some of my mobo problems (replaced under extended warranty like 4 times since I got it 4 years ago).
Zop, I never noticed it being any appreciably hotter when the wireless gives me crap, but it's something I'll keep in mind. Thanks.

It's not how it feels on the outside, but how it feels on the inside that counts.

There is a simple way to check. Leave your laptop in the freezer for a while then turn it on and use it and see if your wireless starts messing up again.

That's what she said...
*facepalm*
Had to say it.
While true, like I said, there were times I felt like I could fry an egg on the bottom of my laptop. I have a feeling that those times the inside was probably hotter than other times where the outside wasn't that hot.

Wouldn't the extreme cold mess with the HD though?
And, like tonight, the wireless eventually goes back to normal, it's just a question of when.
