I'm running a marathon in 2009. Right after deadlifting 600. More to come in a year and a half.

So, the II plan is like this:
Day 1 - Warrior Challenge
Day 2 - Sprints
Day 3 - Heavy DB lifts/Speed strength
Day 4 - GPP
Day 5 - rest.
I was thinking of modifying it to this:
Day 1 - Warrior Challenge
Day 2 - LSD (since I have no base)
Day 3 - 1 day PL routine (since I prefer PLing and have light DB's)
Day 4 - GPP
Day 5 - Rest
Thoughts Alan?

Im probably under 180 lbs now, with less eating and lifting. lot more cardio...

Sprints are great and all. But if you can't run for 30 minutes straight at a steady pace, something should be done about that.
