Parts Express ayton DCS450-4 Classic 18" Subwoofer 4 Ohm
18" subwoofer, very nice TS paras and XMAX, 8.25mm, for $114 ea- and $109 ea for 4 or more. $440 buys 4 of them, and $349 buys a 1000W plate sub amp. Wire for a 4ohm load (2x4ohms =8ohm parallel, 2x8ohms=4 series) and for around $800 plus cabinet (about $100 for MDF braced if you DIY), $900, you'd have an ass-kicking subwoofer that would shake the house.
I'm tempted to sell this crappy 15" solobaric and maybe some PC shit and grab a couple of these bad boys....
