The award for understatement of the day, apparently, goes to Lyoto Machida: “I know Sokoudjou doesn’t have a lot of fights, but the fights he’s had are big, and he has beaten some very big names in this sport." (link)

Somehow, disposing of Little Nog and Ricardo Arona in just under half of a round all told seems a bit more than "big fights."

As an added bonus, there is now an excellent chance of a Machida fight NOT going to a decision in the near future.

Sonny, do you know what the deal is with the romo music that plays when some threads are open? The "who owns a PS3" thread in Mayberry is doing it.

If your boss is not an ass, it helps to talk about this issue (arriving earlier and leaving earlier) or even that you have a certain preference for working less. It obviously depends on the boss and/or firm, but at my company it is possible to indicate what your preferences are. Of course, if you work less, your bonus will be lower and promotions may be less forthcoming. Given my qualifications and salary expectations, I had a really hard time finding a job where regular work weeks where less than, say, 60 hours.

I HATE that people put so much emphasis on when you come and go. I swear, if I could sleep an extra 2-3 hours every morning, I could come to work and get as much done in 5 hours as I do on two normal 8-hour days.

Bama, you have until midnight tonight to hit 225 push press before suffering the consequences. And if you don't believe that you ever joined the race.

Exhibit A:
anyone want to start a smolov squat cycle?

My boss is fine with flex time same with the people on my "team" but it's just one of those things where people precieve you to put in less time when you leave earlier then them like they think "i'm still working cause i do more than him, must be nice to leave early every day". I won't put in 60 every week, i'll be there as long as i need to do my work but i like having a life even if i make less or get promoted less. I work to live not live to work.
