Im in one of the weirdest situations I know of with my f buddy/closest friend/ex. We both obviously still have feelings for each other, and continue to be drawn together like a f'ing magnet. It's so weird. I don't know what to do. We have been on and off 3 times, which sounds gay as hell and immature but I can honestly say things are way different now. Things are starting to feel right again, and we are going out to eat and to a movie this weekend to 'hangout', and I have a feeling we will get back together. Yeah, fucking retarded but just the way things workout I guess, we can't really help the way we feel. So, I say all that to say this, I get what you are saying. And the "perfect guy" thing is definitely a bunch of horse shit, just like the "perfect girl" thing is too. And also, relationships are retarded. I really admire all you guys who just fuck and stay single, I don't think Im one of those guys yet,

Funny thing. The cough syrup I have for my sinus infection apparently has codeine in it. I have been warned several times that one dose will make me very drowsy, and 2 would almost certainly knock me out. I took much too large a dose on accident (think 3), and Im perfectly fine. Im disappointed.

Forgot about the codieine. You need to worry about the DXM (dextromethorphan). It will make you trip balls if you aren't careful.

As far as your situation, it's pretty normal for your age. I'm not gonna rag on you like a lot of other guys on here, but I strongly suggest you look up info on the biochemical Dopamine, esp. its relation to addiction.
As a quick study guide, let me break it down:
Year 1-3: Dopamine
Year 3-5 Dopamine/ Oxytocin
Year 5+ Oxytocin

Most relationships fail at about 5 years because one of the partners is not chemically dependent on Oxytocin. Just the biochemical facts. Learn them, and learn how to use them.

I am not sure what to make of this. I don't really know what these things have to do with a relationship. So there is some kind of biochemical that causes a physical attraction between two people? This might be retarded sounding, but how do these chemicals come into play? Are they released upon talking to the person/physical contact/etc, or what? I have a 70 in chemistry and a 77 in astronomy, Science and math isn't my thing
