I was at my gym yesterday, saturdays are squat days. it's the only day of the week I see anyone else from the gym and they're all there to squat. It's kinda cool.
Anyways, the knee thing is a universal joke. I start warming up in the curl rack and the first thing out of somebody's mouth is "Jesus! don't do that! You're gonna destroy your knees!" "Good. It so happens I hate my knees."

Some noob just posted a video of OHS in his log. You should go tell him what he's doing wrong:
The World, Chico, and Everything in it (MT/Lifting)

i have to squat with dumbells so that's no fun. racking 100s with a plate loaded dumbell is about the most i can do. anything higher than that and it's too hard to hold them at the rack position. watta bitch

Oh don't worry I will and am. My biggest problem has always been finding the 1.5 hours a day to drive to and from the gym. Not a problem now that I have weights. I actually have to stop myself from lifting on rest days. I don't know if smolov is for me, even when I get a squat rack, or something to approximate one; I've never resonded well to that much volume.

You know you better than I do. But it's been working well for me (save my recent back issue). I think high volume has really helped me hammer out my form, which being self taught, needed a lot of work.
