I noticed no difference at all, and my TV is 1080i HD. One friend actually told me the movies look a little better, but you'd have to watch a blu ray and hd dvd side by side to notice it. I don't know, I don't see it at all. __________________

That's sooo 2004.
Heh, is BR better than regular DVD though? Can you easily tell a difference there?

Probably yeah, I'm not 100% sure though. Maybe I just went in to it with too high of expectations, but I don't see all the Blu Ray hype. __________________

Fair enough.
Too be honest, after watching streams and fights/movies on youtube and shit, I'm happy to just get to watch them at all on a regular TV.
The games though. Now I have the net at home (I know.. soooo 1997) I think it would be good.
Anywho,
off to drink some beer and watch fights.

I only noticed a marginal difference on an actual full HD 1080p television.
The one I have is 720p/1080i and I don't notice shit difference when using the blu-ray player.
However, since the br is going to be the new format used by most studios it's still ok to have one. |
