when i was leaning over, changing the tire, my back kept getting tired. Is this all a posture issue or is there some kind of "static" training that is advised...

Get a milk crate to sit on, newb. I have a fancy little snap-on wheeled chair with a tool compartment. Anytime you are bent over for a long time and not used to doing it your back will get tired.
