Wow that is really interesting. Someone should post that in D&S.

If I understand, caffeine before lifting would be great for someone trying to get stronger without worrying about fat.

Looks to me like it depends on the doseage, with higher doses releasin' more cortisol, which causes fat storage (IIRC)

I read in muscle mags that caffeine is best when combined with taurine and Tribulus terrestris. Though I think that's overkill.

If you haven't yet, check Madmick's thread for Pre workout mixes (Nootropics). The basic idea is to mix a stimulant (caffeine or DMAE) with something that makes you focus (taurine or piracetam). Good stuff. My problem is that I am VERY sensitive to caffeine, so I need to figure out a way to do the dosages right.
