According to every car in the city of Westminster, yes.

Well you get two extremes. The slow ones and the fast ones. The fast ones tend to cause more accidents.

GOD GAVE YOU PICKS!!! They're called FINGERS!!!

but, no, using a pick is not inherently bad... sucking with both a pick and your fingers, is ridiculous... Being good with a pick and not with your fingers betrays the nature of the instrument IMO. But the use of a pick on its own, does not denote douchbagery. and for chords, it can be pretty usefull, bass strings can do some damage when strumming.

No, I have lower body hair and despite the length of time it takes me to, I can grow a mean beard.

Sorry, but you were beating a dead horse with your talk of basses.

This is the longest I have seen you online in oh... a month. What gives? Reduced work schedule?

Bass is kinda like boxing, you can jump in and have abit of fun with some basic skills whereas guitar is like grappling its quite boring and frustrating until you get really good at it.

There's a lot of great bass players that use a pick.

People who haven't been exposed to good music seem to think that "playing bass" = root noting. Root noting is not bass playing.
