For the record: Steven Segal has never made a good movie. For martial arts and/or action flicks, you are honestly better off going with Van Damme, and that should not in any way be construed to be a compliment to Mr. Van Damme.
I'll put Soldier on the list of awesome Kurt Russell movies, but in the end, Tombstone does probably win.
I saw the Kanye West thing as it happened during the relief concert thing. No, I've never seen Mike Meyer's look so completely at a loss, nor so completely willing to just sink through the floor and vanish.
I'm kind of surprised that so many of you hadn't seen that, or at least heard about it when it happened. West calling out G.W. on live, national TV was kind of a big deal.

Which one do you have? I've got a blue one, but it's old and doesn't spin that great anymore.

Escape from New York is his best movie. Tombstone and Soldier were awesome though.

In case Urban comes back, did you ever read any of the dune books by Frank Herbert's son? I figured the story was so unique and thorough, I'd just be disappointed because the continuation wouldn't have been as good.
I need to go back and re-read that series.

no, the only dune book I ever read was dune. I didn't feel compelled to read all the others really, but I felt dune constituted cultural literacy.

I had a blue one but somebody at the station broke it (probably threw it at somebody). Shitheads... I've bought three for other people since then but haven't replaced mine.
