I'm staying out of unfamiliar waters. 20 years ago I took some psych courses at the local college, and one was a junior level course on Theory of Personality, and we studied 18 different psychologists theories of personality. Some smelt of bullshit to my 19 year old nose- some had a ring of accuracy. But no one of them had it all right- and if the first rule is 'Do no harm', fucking with the mind, to me, is a really risky business.
Once it seemed that analysis was the way to self-actualization and happiness. Now it seems its 'fuck what happened, deal with now'. I don't know, too iffy, too speculative for me.
